Purpose:
This project will redefine the Rural City of Murray Bridge as regional centre for rowing . A newly constructed Regional Rowing Facility will be the centre for rowing tourism , attracting metropolitan Clubs and Schools to bring their rowing programs into the region. Coupled with well supported regattas and events, the rowing community has the potential to create significant economic growth for the region, particularly in the retail and hospitality sectors. Community support for the project is evident from the range of organisations that are working in partnership to achieve the vision. A revitalised riverfront with be a source of great community pride.
