Purpose:
The Marine Discovery Centre in collaboration with The Science Collective will host a hands–on event for thousands of children and their families at the Marine Discovery Centre and along the coastline of Henley Beach on Sunday 23 August 2020. The Festival will bring together scientists from around South Australia focussing on the marine environment, the impact of microplastics, sustainable fishing, dune care and corrosion to help the community understand our marine environment, their human footprint and how science is addressing emerging issues.
