The Grant will support the James Cook Museum (Cooktown), which is delivering the project on behalf of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) Limited, to undertake cultural heritage activities that will strengthen the Museum's engagement with visitors, and contribute to the recovery of tourism in the region through the promotion of both nationally-significant and local cultural heritage and history.
