Purpose:
The aims of the project are to increase and ensure the benefits of genomics for Indigenous Australians by improving
support for equity at both a health service and health system level. The project will achieve this by:
1. Co-designing and implementing measures to improve the extent to which provision of genomic health services
meet the needs of Indigenous Australians.
2. Evaluating the impact of the measures on the accessibility, availability, affordability and acceptability of care.
3. Conducting a policy analysis to identify actions at a health systems level that will ensure the provision of
genomic health services will continue to meet the needs of Indigenous Australians, as the field continues to
develop.
