Purpose:
The goal of the Heart Foundation is to fund research that reduces the risk and impact of heart disease and improves outcomes for people living with heart disease. To achieve this, the strategic grants are focused on knowledge and treatment gaps The objective of this project is to fund innovate research that addresses gaps and improves heart health outcomes in four strategic areas of Cardio–oncology, Predictive Modelling, Secondary Prevention and Women and Heart disease. The four topics were based on extensive public consultation with consumers, Australians living with heart disease, researchers, clinicians and numerous other stakeholders involved in heart health.
