Tailoring Physical Activity Interventions After Stroke to Promote Lifelong Adherence
Purpose:
Physical activity is vital for good health, yet the consequences of stroke make being physically active challenging. Generic physical activity programs fail long term after stroke. This Investigator Grant will test tailored programs, that I co-designed with stroke survivors & carers, in innovative early phase trials to guide the next big stroke recovery trial. Ultimately, this research aims to help stroke survivors engage in sustainable physical activity to their improve health long term.
