The project is to upgrade and construct facilities for sport and recreation at Woodbury Reserve in Glossodia.

Purpose:

The purpose of the project is to deliver on a 2022 Government Commitment, Details of the project. To assist communities to build strengths and improve liveability. Woodbury Reserve in Glossodia is a passive and active recreation space used by all sections of the community. Upgrades nominated in the Hawkesbury City Council’s masterplan will provide greater opportunities for the entire community to come to the reserve and take advantage of the new and improved facilities. These include: Sports field upgrade; New cricket practice nets; New skate park facilities; Picnic and BBQ areas; New toilet facilities; New playground; New multi-purpose half-sized courts; Shared path network with better connections; Improved access to natural areas; and designated dog off-leash area.
