Fully integrated SOC measurement using CO2 flux, remote sensing and models
Purpose:
Agrimix, in collaboration with Australias leading soil and greenhouse gas institution in Australia, QUT, have developed a measure-model-verification (MMV) technology which enables low-cost accurate soil carbon measurement. The core of this technology is the use of landscape CO2 flux data from reference sites and other remote sensing data integrated with proven soil carbon models. The project will bring this technology to the point of commercialisation, ready for scale-up and rollout to the agricultural industry and be fully integrated with existing farm production decision support systems. It will work within the CER framework.
