The AJYD team intends to deliver the 2020-21 Dialogue across five virtual segments. The first is a series of thought leadership pieces showcasing emerging leaders designed to start conversations about key issues in the bilateral relationship. The second segment is a virtual panel event which will kick off the Dialogue. Following this event, the AJYD will host a virtual networking session, interactive workshop event and partner panel discussion with another youth association. The audience for these events will be a cohort of around fifty delegates, drawn from our alumni and key institutions in the Australia-Japan space, such as the AJBCC and ANZCCJ. The kick-off event will be also accessible to the general public through livestream. Through a mix of academic, pragmatic and social events, AJYD 2020-21 aims to equip young Australian and Japanese leaders with the skills, knowledge and networks they need to support the relationship into the future.
