Purpose:
The Grantee has been awarded funding to provide Defence families with support programs to address social
isolation and promote a sense of belonging and community connectedness. The project will be delivered
through providing Defence families opportunities for learning and promoting personal growth through
programs such as first aid, mental health first aid and wellbeing workshops. The project also aims to assist
families that are new to Defence life by creating lasting friendships and support networks enabling them to
establish a solid foundation.
