Purpose:
I have received quotes to double glaze external windows and glass doors around the dining room bar and kitchen areas of the hotel and ceiling insulation. As we are in a 40 + degree area of Queensland we would benefit by a massive energy saving for our split system aircons and internal fridges and freezers. Dropping the temperature and power usage will be of a great benefit to our business. We have already installed 16kw of solar so on hot days we may be able to put some more energy into the grid rather than cooling the hotel. I am very interested in other energy saving measures so doing this initial project would help me learn and think about other ways to save energy in the Hotel going forward.
