Capital Region Scout teams FIRST LEGO League Challenge Regional Competition
Purpose:
The Southern Ranges District/ACT Scouts have joined forces to compete in the FIRST Lego League Challenge. Teams have to a) build autonomous LEGO robots to complete set challenges, b) conduct original research, c) present their work through documentation and creativity, and d) demonstrate teamwork, good sportsmanship and initiative. In the process youth learn project management, design thinking and how to work in teams towards a common goal.
We will prepare four teams for the 2022 Regional Competition in Wollongong. This will involve weekly meetings and 2 weekend camps.
