MYSKATE
Purpose:
MYSKATE stands for MURRUMBIDGEE YOUTH SKATE FESTIVAL celebrating the opening of our new skate park with the young people of the Western Riverina. It will be organised by our MYFEST committee made up of young people, youth workers, council staff & local talent. The festival will incorporate week long workshops from Snake Sessions by Branch Nebula. Snake Sessions is a new site specific performance developed in collaboration with local. It s an organic process based on creating a show through improvisation, & workshops with local skate park users including skating, BMX, dancing, Parkour & live drumming.The Festival will conclude on Saturday afternoon with a demonstration from Branch Nebula, local bands, local food & break dancing competition.
