Purpose:
An Incubator Support Initiative New or Existing grant has been awarded to Bega Valley Shire Council for the Bega Valley Innovation Hub 2.0. Bega Valley Innovation Hub (BVIH) 2.0 will build on and expand the BVIH 1.0, a proven successful regional innovation incubator model. BVIH 2.0 will expand it's reach to neighbouring LGA's and industry sponsors within the Canberra Joint Organisations region. Through the continued partnership with University of Wollongong (UoW) Bega Campus & Bega Cheese, BVIH.20 will provide a structured pathway for regional business owners to access the UoW iAccelerate specialised Activate program and will now also include access to iAccelerates Grow program. Delivering 36 licences over two years through 2 structured Incubator Programs with cohort-based entry and exit, co-working, mentoring and access to growing national and international Innovation Network.
