The project will revegetate 20 hectares of banksia woodland in Gnangara with suitable native plants to provide a future food resource for cockatoos, fauna and other native birds. This will address current plant food shortages that threaten to reduce populations of endangered Carnaby's Black and Red–tailed Forest Black Cockatoos within the Swan Coastal Plain region.
