Dissecting the healthy and immunosuppressed, primary and secondary immune responses within human lymph nodes following COVID-19 vaccination
Purpose:
The dynamics of the immune response to vaccines in human lymph nodes are important in determining eventual vaccine responses but are poorly characterised. We will investigate the critical components of the immune response in human lymph nodes that lead to an effective neutralising antibody response to novel COVID-19 vaccines. Our findings will provide insights into the critical responses required for a successful vaccine and will inform the rational design of future vaccines.
