Queensland/Saitama Rugby Partnership

Purpose:

The Queensland Rugby Union and the Panasonic Wild Knights are in the first year of an AJF-funded four-way partnership between the teams and the provinces in which they play - Queensland and the Saitama Prefecture.
The partnership is focused on sharing rugby IP, including coaching and administrative exchanges.
The partnership offers a unique way to capitalise on the success of the 2019 Rugby World Cup and promote trade and investment in both Queensland and Saitama.
The funding will enable the second year of the of the partnership including travel and accommodation for two-way coach and player exchanges in the lead-up to a return match in Queensland in November 2023 at the new Ballymore National Rugby Training Centre.
