Quest Ipswich Energy Efficiency project
Purpose:
This project is made up of two phases.
For the purpose of this grant application, this project relates to Phase one and aims to replace 20 x washing machines and 32 x refrigerators throughout our hotel complex. The existing machines are 13 years old, so the benefit of replacing these will be seen in reduced maintenance and replacement costs when they fail (given their age). More importantly, we will see significantly reduced energy costs due to the efficiency of the new machines.
Phase two (not related to this grant application) will include other energy–efficient activities such as installing heavyweight window coverings and clothes dryers.
