Purpose:
To install 6.6 kW solar system and a new energy efficient commercial refrigerator for the community hall to reduce energy use, achieve lower energy bills and to contribute to a cleaner environment and energy efficiency. To develop the community hall as an efficient safe neighbourhood place where residents may seek refuge during future crises such as bushfires, floods and other adverse events. These measures will be used to demonstrate the benefits of and encourage the community to collectively reduce our energy consumption with a view to carbon abatement.
