On 14 November 2020, as part of a broader package of economic, development and security measures to support Southeast Asia’s recovery from COVID-19, Prime Minister Morrison announced a four-year $232 Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) to support economic integration and development in the Mekong Sub-region. This grants round contributes the MAP’s objectives to boost economic integration, investment and development in Vietnam in support of progressing an Australia-Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy.
Leveraging its longstanding collaboration with policy decisionmakers in Vietnam, NEAS will promote commercial partnerships between Australian providers and Ministries in Vietnam.
