Purpose:
Our motel is situated in the Central Highlands Queensland, so cooling is a huge expense for our motel. Our motel rooms are all air conditioned and have refrigerators. The old refrigerators have an energy rating of only 2 stars. We would like to upgrade them to a more energy efficient option of at least 3.5 stars. We would also like to upgrade our air conditioning units to a more energy efficient option (5 stars min). Our desired outcome is to substantially reduce our energy consumption so as to reduce our energy expenditure for cooling, which is substantial in such a hot climate.
