Redefining sleep disordered breathing diagnostics and management: A novel data-driven digital health approach
Purpose:
Sleep-disordered breathing are common respiratory disorders that affect over a billion people worldwide, disrupting sleep and impacting quality of life. Current methods of diagnosis can be costly and time-consuming, with misdiagnoses occurring in up to 50% of cases and wait times of up to two years. To address these challenges, I propose a novel, multi-modal, data-driven approach to diagnose and manage sleep-disordered breathing using affordable technology that can be implemented in the home.
