Purpose:
The Asia-Pacific Triennial of Performing Arts, is a high-profile celebration of contemporary Asia-Pacific performing arts and culture. Uniting major Australian cultural organisations under one banner, the sector simultaneously presents performances and public events, featuring artists drawn from across the region in bilateral collaborations.
The 2020 program offers a unique opportunity to innovate, refine and document a holistic approach to First Nations arts and cultural engagement through:
- the creation and presentation of new Indigenous-led work
- facilitating First Nations cross-cultural collaboration, and
- increasing international markets for Australian cultural product.
