Purpose:
Students will compete in the National Final of the Subs in Schools competition. Students race a model submarine and present their project management, business planning, marketing, collaboration and work portfolio to industry judges and scientists. This challenge is part of the world's largest secondary school technology program. Students will have the opportunity to engage, participate and compete in activities that develop technical and employability skills, and provide pathways to further education and training and future careers. The benefit of participating in such activities include further engagement and enrolment in STEM based subjects.
