Purpose:
The main objective of this project is to enhance the income of the rural female tea smallholders in Sri Lanka by building their capacity to apply innovative sustainable agricultural practices. The project is closely associated with one of the UNESCO’s global priorities, i.e. achieving gender equality. This projects supports UNESCO's objective of promoting gender equality and the Sustainable Development Goals.
