Purpose:
The work of the Australian Convict Sites Steering Committee ensures that the Outstanding Universal Value of the World Heritage Property is protected for future generations. The Executive Officer will provide secretariat support to progress the Committee's annual Work Plan and the major projects for 2018/2019 identified in that Work Plan. Major projects include the development of a consistent approach to 'state of conservation reporting', supporting Commonwealth Periodic Reporting obligations to UNESCO, as well as the development of an information brochure, both hard copy and digital copy, to be made available to the public, identifying and describing the component sites that together form the World Heritage Property.
