A national platform for improving quality of nutrition care for critically ill adults and children
Purpose:
We propose the first national platform to transform the future of nutrition care for critically ill adults and children in Australia. The primary aim of this proposal is to re-design and inform new models of nutrition care to ensure efficient and effective application of resources in the way consumers need. The impact will be improved quality of care and rapid reduction in complications associated with poor nutrition (for which critically ill patients are at high risk).
