Multiple sclerosis is a disabling neurological condition with a profound impact on the community. This proposal builds on years of successful MS research to develop a "human" model to study MS. Using advanced genetic techniques to understand why MS is more common in families. To understand how genes, the environment, and personal behaviours influence MS risk and progression. How information can be used to improve MS and how to translate discoveries into meaningful outcomes rapidly.
