Kingaroy Hotel Motel Energy Saving & Efficiency in Accommodation 2021
Purpose:
Upgrade the building fabric of the motel accommodation units to save energy, by improving windows with the installation of UV & Heat rejecting window tint. Upgrade heating and cooling equipment within the motel accommodation to reduce energy consumption, by replacing existing non efficient & non temperature controlled reverse cycle air conditioning units with heavy industry specific split system units operational at set energy efficient controlled temperatures and high rating for energy efficiency. Upgrades to both the building fabric and equipment within this project will result in considerable reduction to energy consumption within the accommodation area of the hotel.
