Purpose:
Basketball ID program is a multi year project to co-design with our colleagues in Korea to enhance the basketball skills for people with an intellectual impairment in Korea and to train coaches and teachers via expertise in Australia to take part in inclusive basketball events in Australia and then ultimately international competition. This basketball exchange has worked extremely well with Australia and Japan over many years. Equity in sport to address human rights is essential and a great platform for sports diplomacy
