Purpose:
The FIRST? Robotics Competition (FRC) is an International high school robotics competition in which teams of students, coaches, and mentors work during a short period to build and program large robots that complete tasks such as scoring balls into goals, hanging robots on bars, and balancing robots on balance beams. The game aims to inspire a passion for STEM through challenges that change annually. Participation allows students to develop an interest in technology and science, collaborate with other students and industry professionals, build work ethic and teamwork skills and solve unexpected problems.
