Purpose:
The Knox Innovation Opportunity and Sustainability Centre (KIOSC) team will design and deliver innovative STEM Maker Workshops for secondary school students. This will promote STEM education and use of technology to create a sustainable and innovative prototype to solve an issue pertaining to climate science.
The program will feature hands–on workshops to promote critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration using a design thinking process. Through two dedicated masterclass workshops, students will develop STEM based knowledge and skills to create a prototype to address a chosen issue within the realm of climate science.
We will work with four secondary schools and students from the SwinLocal network and industry partners.
