Empowering Women in AgTech
Purpose:
The 'Empowering Women in AgTech' is a program to increase the skills and knowledge of women and girls in regional and rural QLD, NSW and Vic. UAVAIR Pty Ltd will team with 'Smart Farms' where robotics and wireless sensors are currently in use to improve farming and environmental outcomes. Year 9 and 10 girls will be provided with short courses and workshops in aerial robotics in agriculture, including visits to smart farms to see aerial technology in action. Young women under 25 who have completed STEM subjects will also be included in this program with two seven–day training programs held in rural aerial technology.
