Purpose:
The Merimbula Classic is the longest running event of its type in the world. Now known as the Raging Bull Merimbula Classic this event is a celebration of wind and waves and incorporates wave sailing (windsurfing in waves), kite surfing and Stand Up Paddle surfing (SUP). There is also an expo component on the oval where all the latest in water toys can be checked out and an apres event including gourmet local foods and music over the four days. The upcoming event will expand to include a greater variety of expo water toys and an apres event including gourmet local foods and music over the four days. 1,600 attendees are expected. Funding will be used for safety services and security.
