To purchase the advanced pedestrian legform impactor (aPLI) to provide a more biodefelic representation of the injuries a pedestrian's leg might receive in a pedestrian-vehicle collision.
Purpose:
Acquisition of the aPLI will facilitate adaptation of CASR's test facility and provide access for manufacturers that wish to conduct test and develop work to their vehicles prior to the introduction of the leg to ANCAP assessments in 2023.
