Purpose:
HEAL aims to strengthen the Australian community and health system’s resilience to changing environmental conditions, climate change and extreme weather events. This will be achieved by stimulating collaborative research that will improve the current understanding of the interactions between the climate, the natural and built environment and our health. HEAL will lead to more effective policies and measures that will protect and improve the health of the community and reduce inequalities.
