Best Western Apollo Bay Motel Ongoing Energy Reduction Project 2021
Purpose:
To achieve our goal of reducing electrical energy consumption, we plan the following:
1) Installation of Air–con Off Smart Remote PRO in our 26 rooms. These remotes can be programmed to restrict the minimum and maximum temperature limits and preventing users setting your air conditioners too hot or too cold. This will significantly reduce power consumption (by up to 10% per degree) and also lower maintenance costs and extend asset life.
2) Installation of induction cooktops in our 14 self–catering apartments.
3) Upgrade of all ceiling lights in our 14 self–catering apartments to LED lights.
These installation will reduce our electrical energy consumption.
