Purpose:
Tungsten Metals Group Ltd (TMG) produces Ferrotungsten (FeW) recognised as a Critical Mineral by the AUS, EU, US, and Japanese Governments. The project outcome is to take our existing FeW output from our Vietnam plant and produce FeW powders that can be used in advanced manufacturing. This downstream project creates added value to the FeW while supporting specialist skills and IP development within Australia. The key activities of the project are: 1) Identify equipment suitable for generating powders 2) Conduct a market study 3) Engage Engineering consultant for preliminary design & costing 4) Complete feasibility study.
