Grant Program:
Project
Grant Activity:
Defining molecular pathways for COX2 maturation in mitochondrial Complex IV
Purpose:

Disorders of the mitochondrial respiratory chain represent the most common inborn errors of metabolism in humans. Of these deficiencies, many are due to defects in the action of Complex IV. By understanding how different proteins come together to build Complex IV, we will understand their importance to mitochondrial disease pathogenesis.
