Grant Program:
Project
Grant Activity:
Understanding the circadian regulation of the innate lymphoid cells
Purpose:

Living organisms adapt to light-dark rhythmicity using internal clock. This clock not only regulates our behaviour (sleep and feeding) but also our immune system. Importantly, disruption of the clock has been linked to increased risk to develop cancer, diabetes and atherosclerosis. Despite these observations how the internal clock affect specific immune cells are not well understood. We have developed new experimental models to understand how the internal clock regulate our immune cells.
