Multiple Sclerosis: Pregnancy and Prognosis
Purpose:
The effect of pregnancy on the long-term health outcomes of women with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is not well understood, and information about the impact of MS-therapies on neonatal outcomes is scarce. We will use statistical methods to assess how pregnancy and therapy use affect the health of women with MS and their babies. This will assist doctors and nurses in counseling women about family planning, and will allow pregnancy decisions to be made with the best medical evidence available.
