Grant Activity:
Lipidomic hallmarks of human colon cancer: clinical and therapeutic implications
Purpose:

Aberrant lipid metabolism is increasingly recognized as a feature of human cancers. This grant seeks to understand which lipids are associated with the development of colon cancer and determine the effect of lipid changes on tumour cell behaviour. We will investigate the utility of lipid signatures for improving tumour clinical classification, in order to guide the design of new therapies.
