Project
Grant Activity:
Exploiting metabolic vulnerabilities in the detection and treatment of lung cancer
Purpose:

Lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related death in Australia, with new treatment options and early detection a research priority. The proposed project aims to identify lung cancer by-products that can be detected in the patient’s blood, together with the identification of specific therapies tailored to the patient. This will result in a novel combination of lung cancer detection and personalised therapy that will advance current clinical practice through the initiation of clinical trials.
