Grant Activity:
The Vaccine Barriers Assessment Tool (VBAT): a vaccine acceptance and barriers tool for optimisation of vaccine uptake for parents of children under the age of five
Purpose:
With recent policy changes and emerging national and international threats to public support for vaccination, a validated tool to monitor barriers to vaccine acceptance in children under five years has never been so critically needed in Australia. Such a tool is needed to improve (i) the quality of far-reaching and resource-intensive policy decisions, (ii) the design and evaluation of vaccine campaigns and (iii) vaccine conversations between immunisation providers and parents.
