Grant Program:
Project
Grant Activity:
Investigating a tumour suppressor in haematopoiesis and lymphoblastic leukaemia
Purpose:

Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is the most common childhood cancer. Current treatment of children with cancer unfortunately often results in severe treatment-related disease, emphasising the need for novel therapies. In the proposed project, we will examine the molecular and cellular functions of a gene commonly mutated in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia with the aim of identifying underlying molecular mechanisms that may allow the development of new therapeutic options in the future.
