Purpose:
Grafton’s famous jacaranda trees will be illuminated as an art installation as part of the annual Jacaranda Festival in 2022. The lighting of the trees will extend the festival operating time into the evening and will become a permanent installation for Grafton. Grant funds will be used for: electrical and architectural work, fencing, a tender process, new and relocated light features, security and anti-vandalism equipment.
