Purpose:
Problems, or complications, after surgery prolong recovery and hospital length of stay. There is growing interest in preparing people for surgery 'Prehabilitation'. This project will investigate the (1) feasibility and effects of an individualised prehabilitation program for high risk cancer patients within the Australia public healthcare context, (2) patient and general practitioner perceptions of prehabilitation and (3) patient factors that may affect the success of prehabilitation programs.
