Purpose:
Phantom Limb Pain is the most distressing and disabling of all chronic pain conditions, 75% report suicidal thoughts. No treatment is supported by high quality evidence meaning that people with Phantom Limb Pain often seek unproven interventions that can be dangerous. We have conducted a series of pilot studies on the most promising non-pharmacological intervention for Phantom Limb Pain. This trial will determine whether this promising intervention is effective for Phantom Limb Pain.
