Purpose:
An Incubator Support Initiative New or Existing grant has been awarded to Latrobe City Council. Startup Gippsland will create application–only pre and accelerator programs, as well as public events. The pre and accelerator programs will take high potential startups through 12–week courses of masterclasses and mentoring, culminating in a pitch showcase. It will help the startups accelerate their progress by building their entrepreneurial and business capability, expanding their networks and providing them with an inspiring and supportive community. The open–for–public events will include one–off workshops and meetups on key entrepreneurial topics to build the capability of attendees and promote the impact of startups more broadly across the community. This will ultimately increase the pipeline of early–stage startups in the region.
