St Patrick's School Robotics team attending the National Titles
Purpose:
St Patrick's Catholic Primary School Robotics team will attend the 2018 Robotics National Titles to be held in Melbourne. This is the first time that our team has entered the National competition. The students have developed their STEM skills to design, build and program five Lego Mindstorm Robots. They have also designed and built all of the competition props and choreographed the dance routine to synchronise with the robots. All of the students work involved self–directed and inquiry–based problem solving. This competition will give the students, who are from a regional area of Central Queensland an opportunity to advance their STEM knowledge and skills and observe STEM related learning experiences.
